A little while back I was approached by MUSE wunderkin Thomas Kirk [ you can follow his exploits on Twitter by clicking this [link]
] to design a Retro looking robot for MUSE's new Unsustainable music video and possible Tour Icon. Above are some of the initial designs I came up with.
Most of the designs are based on 50's style movie and toy robots. There's something both nostalgic and creepy to robot concepts from over a half century ago.
With the proper MuseBot selected, I worked with Roger Kupelian [ here's a [link]
to his work ] to create a 3D Model for the video. Thomas Kirk then took the 3D Model and further enhanced the design by really amping expressions on the face-monitor. You can see the results in the video by clicking this [link]
The woman reporter featured inside the MuseBot is my darling little wife, Elena Evangelo. You can see more of her at her Facebook [link]
and her IMDB page at this [link]
Thomas also created a very cool APP called PhotoBlab. It merges Audio with photos and combines a cool social media platform for sharing. Check it out at this [link]
